User roles and permissions

PhariaCatch users are assigned one of two roles: project manager or annotator. A project manager is responsible for creating and managing use cases, projects, and tasks, whereas the annotator is responsible for processing the tasks assigned to them.


The project manager role

As a project manager, you are responsible for the delivery of high-quality datasets for evaluation or optimisation of AI systems. PhariaCatch supports you by providing sophisticated workflows and tools to assess dataset quality.

You can do the following:

  • create and manage use cases

  • create and manage projects

  • create and manage tasks

  • evaluate dataset quality

  • export datasets for evaluation or optimisation purposes

The annotator role

As an annotator, you are a domain expert who is responsible for the processing and delivery of annotation tasks assigned to you by a project manager. PhariaCatch provides you with easy-to-follow workflows and a clean annotation workbench.

You can do the following:

  • access and process tasks assigned to you

  • view data points and annotation instructions side-by-side

  • flag problematic data points to your project manager
