User group management
PhariaOS is the central place to manage user groups, their membership, and which PhariaAI resources (such as applications and collections) each group of users can access.
| You need to have the admin role assigned to your user account to be able to manage groups. |
PhariaAI supports two types of user groups:
-
Externally managed groups: these are configured in the PhariaAI Helm chart and managed by the external identity provider. You cannot modify them in PhariaOS, or view their membership list, but you can assign resources to them, such as applications and collections.
-
Manually created groups: these are created and managed in PhariaOS. You have full control of their membership, and you can assign resources to them.
