Add data points to a project

You can add data points to your projects by uploading files in .txt, .pdf or .docx format. You can upload a file per datapoint or bulk upload all data points within one or several files.

If you upload several data points within one file, PhariaCatch interprets text between two newlines as one data point and creates one task per data point.

To upload content to a project:

  1. Click on the project tile to open it.

  2. Click Add file at the top right.
    The data upload window appears.

  3. Click Upload file.
    The file explorer opens.

  4. Select one or more files to upload.

  5. Click Open to return to the data upload window.

  6. Click Save.

The files are uploaded and processed. For larger files or PDFs that require OCR processing, this process can take some time. A progress indicator is displayed on the task overview screen to inform you that file processing is still ongoing.
